Presentation given by the Principal Investigator of FLAME at the Visitor’s Centre of the National Observatory of Athens (Athens, Greece), concerning wildfires in the era of climate change. The presentation gives a layman overview of fire, fire spread and behaviour, fire weather and what is needed to increase awareness and preparedness for extreme fire weather and fire behaviour.
